How it works

From "something's wrong" to a pull request in three steps.

  1. Scan the page you're on

Open the side panel and press Scan. Issues are outlined right on the page, so you see exactly what a screen-reader or keyboard user runs into.

  2. Understand what it means

Every issue is explained in plain language: who it affects, why it matters for sales and search, and which WCAG rule it relates to.

  3. Fix it in the code

Get a code fix for your theme file, or copy a ready prompt for Claude Code, Cursor or your own AI agent. You review, you ship.

No overlay widget

Overlays paint over the problem. Kerbwise fixes the source.

More than 1 in 5 US accessibility lawsuits in H1 2025 (22.6%) targeted sites that already had an overlay installed. Fixes in your code stay fixed and don't slow down your shop.

Why now

Accessibility is now the law for most webshops.

3,117 federal website accessibility lawsuits in 2025, up 27%
~70% of website accessibility lawsuits target e-commerce

Online stores are the most sued websites under the ADA.

Don't wait for a demand letter. In California, the Unruh Act adds statutory damages of at least $4,000 per violation.

Overlay widgets do not prevent this: more than 1 in 5 suits in H1 2025 (22.6%) targeted sites that had one installed. Sources: Seyfarth Shaw (2025 federal filings), UsableNet 2025 year-end report, EcomBack 2025 mid-year report, Cal. Civ. Code § 52(a). Not legal advice. Kerbwise helps you find and fix issues; it can't promise a site meets any law.

Questions

No tool can promise that. Automated checks find many issues but not all, so a manual review is still needed. Kerbwise gets the bulk of the work done and shows clearly what's left.

No. Nothing is added to your live site. Kerbwise shows the problem and writes the fix for your theme or code; you or your AI agent apply it.

Any site you can open in Chrome. Fixes are tailored for Shopify (Liquid) and WordPress or WooCommerce (PHP) themes, React and Next.js, and plain HTML for everything else.

No. Scans run in your browser and nothing from the page is sent anywhere. When you copy a prompt for your AI agent, you decide where it goes.
